Our mission is to sustain, nurture and strengthen the emotional and general well-being and stability of families and individuals through the life cycle, within the frame work of Jewish tradition and values.
Though our services are extremely varied, there are common threads that run throughout each program.
Consistency
The JFS staff is truly a family. The clinicians tend to stay with JFS for years. This stability enhances the agency's ability to better service you. Consistency contributes to the trust that develops between client and staff member.
Responsiveness
JFS' trademark is quick response time. At JFS, your call is answered without delay. If you require an appointment, it will be scheduled promptly and an initial assessment is made within five business days.
Client Satisfaction
The agency is known for professionalism and client satisfaction. JFS solicits feedback and evaluations, and continues to receive the highest marks in every program.
Confidentiality
Privacy and trust are the foundations of our work and JFS prides itself on our respect for the client. All agency/client meetings, whether they are individual, group, or family, are held in the strictest confidence. The agency follows the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and HIPAA regulations.
Open to the Community
Our services are open to the entire community. JFS is available to serve anyone in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts who need assistance regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or economic status.
